Youth Programs Upcoming Events/Closings

United Way of the Virginia Peninsula, in partnership with Smart Beginnings Virginia Peninsula is administering a regional child care collaborative to support working families with children learning virtually due to COVID-19.  The Care and Supervision for School-Age Children (CASSAC) provides grant-vouchers to pay tuition and provide resources to child care providers who are able to expand their services to support virtual learning.

All of our Youth Programs sites will be closed on Friday, October 23, 2020 in order to transition our programs to support NNPS’ hybrid learning plan model.  We will also be reorganizing and sanitizing to ensure that all of our sites are following the appropriate guidelines and that everyone remains safe while participating in our programs.

Join us on Saturday, October 31, 2020 for our NNPRT Drive-Thru "Spooktacular” Trunk or Treat events.

Event locations/times:

Denbigh Community Center (drive-thru) 12pm-2pm

Brittingham-Midtown Community Center (drive-thru) 2pm-4pm

Doris Miller Community Center (walk-thru) 4pm-6pm

Wear your costumes and trunk or treat from the safety of your car!  Social Distancing and Covid-19 guidelines will be practiced and encouraged.
