Kick’n for a Cause

It’s that time of the year when NNPRT Youth Programs division begins our annual community service project, Kick’n for a Cause, which raises funds for a local non-profit organization.  This year we have decided to donate monetary and non-perishable items to the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank.

Beginning on March 8th through April 2nd, children at each of our childcare locations will begin collecting non-perishable items as they learn how to make a difference in their community by giving back.  Monetary donations can be made by using the QR donation code listed on the flyer below.    Our monetary donation goal this year for Kick’n for a Cause is $2500; Non-perishable food drive donation goal is 10,000 pounds of food.

QR Code  Monetary Donation:
Just open up the camera on your smart phone and point it at the QR code and it will take you directly to the NNPRT Youth Programs "Kick'n for a Cause" fundraising page to make a monetary donation to the VA Peninsula Foodbank.  Click on the green "Give Now" tab to make your donation.

NNPRT-Youth Programs will be transitioning in conjunction with Newport News Public Schools “Return 2 Learn” plan.  Youth Programs will operate between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. at various school and community center locations throughout the City of Newport News.  We currently still have space in a few of our childcare sites.  Due to the CDC guidelines and restrictions many of our childcare sites will have limited availability.   Please call (757) 926-1400 if you have any questions or want to check on childcare availability.
